How Biosonda handles personal data collected through the contact form, in compliance with LGPD (Brazil's General Data Protection Law — Law No. 13,709/2018).

When you fill out the contact form available at biosonda.com.br/en/contato.html, the following data may be collected:

3. Purpose of Processing

The data collected is used exclusively to respond to the request submitted by the data subject — whether a quote for equipment, technical support, maintenance, training, or any other matter indicated in the form. We do not use the data to send unsolicited advertising, nor do we sell or transfer it to third parties.

4. Legal Basis (LGPD)

The processing of data is based on Biosonda's legitimate interest in responding to commercial and technical requests (Art. 7, IX of the LGPD) and, where applicable, the execution of preliminary steps related to a contract (Art. 7, V), such as preparing quotes and technical proposals.

5. Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and for an additional period consistent with applicable legal and fiscal obligations, or while Biosonda has a legitimate interest in keeping it for commercial relationship history purposes. After that period, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Data Sharing

Data is not sold, rented or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. Form content is received directly by the Biosonda team via e-mail. In legally required situations (e.g. court order or competent authority request), data may be shared as required by law.

7. Security

The form uses an anti-CSRF token, origin validation, IP-based rate limiting and HTTPS transmission to reduce the risk of interception and automated submissions. Data is not stored in a server database — it is transmitted directly by e-mail to the Biosonda team.

8. Data Subject Rights (LGPD)

Under the LGPD, you have the right to:

  • Confirm the existence of processing of your data;
  • Access the data Biosonda holds about you;
  • Request correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • Request deletion or anonymisation of data, where applicable;
  • Obtain information about the sharing of your data;
  • Revoke consent, when processing is based on that legal basis.
